Which route shall I take? !.....
1. Buy a steel or aluminium bonnet? Is there that much difference? Will I pay a lot more for alloy?
2. I have seen a local to where i live,cheaper bonnet. It is a facelift but has no scoop or grilles. I have these on mine so could use them but not too sure how much extra I'm Gonna have to pay someone to cut the replacement bonnet etc....
How much should i expect to pay for a decent silver facelift bonnet cost...I presume aluminium is going to be better, with grilles and a scoop?!!

I wouldn't buy a bonnet without the vents already in as it is so much hassle to cut the new holes out. I paid £125 for my brand new facelift bonnet but that was without the vents so I would expect to pay around 60-80 for a used bonnet. Just be aware that the vents are what cost the money so if you can find some somewhere or pick some up cheap your onto a winner. They normally go for around 50-60 for the set. Hope this helps.
