Hi,

I had my car vandalised no too long ago and am thinking about getting it sorted in the next month or 2, for now there is some touch up paint over the scratches to prevent further damage from salt off the road etc, There are some pics here

I also have a small crack in my bumper near the fog light from some debris which i would like to get sorted.
I plan to get a quote from my local ford dealer but I image they will be quite expensive. does anyone have any recommendations for reasonable priced body-shops in the ashbourne/derby area. I have mailed http://www.car-cosmetics-derby.co.uk asking for a quote after ma quick google but i don't know anyone who has used them.

I cant manage without my car so it must be somewhere that can provide a courtesy car.

Thanks

Adam

I suggest you post this on the regional forum section as you will get a better response.

Adam, I would charge around £220+vat for the scratch allowing for the door blend, plus new side stripes at cost from Ford.

The bumper would be somewhere around £80-100 extra if done at the same time.

I only live in Belper and my unit is in Mansfield.

Have a look at ChipsAway Rob Marshall on Facebook if you want some pictures to look at?

Hi Adam, check out my website getsmart-repairs.co.uk or the scratch repair Nottingham thread in the midlands section, I could come to you and do the repairs so there would be no need for a courtesy car, cheers Paul.

Paul, without wishing to get into a slanging match can you tell me how you would repair the scratch on the fiesta above while keeping in the right side of HSE?

After all it would require 2 large panel paints and to do this in an uncontrolled environment would not be wise.
