My other half has just spent a week in hospital following bad chest pains, and was diagnosed with Unstable Angina Pectoris. All the advice we can find online suggests that flying is a no-no, but we have a trip to Teneriffe booked in a couple of weeks to see our new grandchild, so she's pretty keen to go still.

Has anyone had experience of flying with UAP, or should we heed the advice and put the trip off for a while?

Thanks

Don't travel withour health insurance. If the angina remains unstable then you will not get insurance and should not fly.
If treatment has stabilised things and symptoms are relieved then you may be able to fly.
