Insurance question
Discussion
Over the last year I've accumilated a few bits of DSLR kit, with a Canon 7D being the latest addition.
Up till now I wasn't too fussed about insurance as the total value of all the kit was less than the limit on my home insurance policy but now I've decided that with a 7D, an 'L' lens and the rest, the overall value if it was all in one bag and stolen would be enough to cause a headache.
So my question is a simple one. If you take out specified items 'all risk' cover for your camera kit on your home insurance, do you specify it all as one item 'Camera' at a single high value or do you specify all of the bits individually?
