Got the dash top off at the moment and can't wait to have a go at putting it back. Not.(My arms still haven't healed from door card removal frown) If I use wing nuts does it make it any easier and if so does anyone know what size to buy?

Make sure you put loads of tape ,cardboard etc each side of the top dash next to the screen .When you pull the dash off it will spring open and rip the upper dash .The two threaded rods are very sharp.

Seen this damage on a few cars ,it`s a sreen out job to repair it ..

Cheers Daz, dash top is already off and has been since Monday. Just need to put it back and now have a little bag of wingnuts courtesy of B+Q.

It is very easy with the wing nuts. Be careful of the sharp end of self tappers that come up from below. They rip the back of your hand whilst putting on the wing nuts. Put some old polystyrene or cork on the screws whilst you have the the top off

Good tip, thanks. The backs of my hands already look like a quality control facility for razor blades and that was only the door and the water pump...
