Crysis 3

anyone bought this? looks amazing but campaign seems a little short, claimed to be only 4-5 hours (7 levels).

Blimey this is quiet. After all the FC3 threadage, and even the Bioshock Infinite ones, is this all Crysis gets? Has it bombed?

about half way through on ps3. good game but not great. not as open world as i had hoped, bit too directed for my liking, call of duty campaign style. still, worth buying and trying.

I thought Crysis 2 was dire compared to Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. It was dumbed-down, the graphics engine was no better (it was so obvious that the consoles had dragged the PC version down to the lowest common denominator), formulaic, and I only managed to complete it out of sheer bloody-mindedness.

I haven't bothered with Crysis 3 as I haven't read anything that convinces me it's any better.

i would give crysis 3 an 8/10. love the suit and weapons upgrades, graphics are stunning but the campaign is a little short. maybe wait for the price to come down a bit but definitely try it

Well I bought this ages ago, and thought last night as I had a bit of time I might have a quick play.... until.... "You need a DX11 compatible graphics card to play this game..."

Oh arse. That's £40 down the drain.

Finally got around to playing it on my new system with a GPU that would allow it.... good god it looks stunning. Knocks FarCry3 into a cocked hat in the looks department.... shame the story got all a bit silly. The early levels were excellent, but just as with the previous Crysis games, once it gets into daft flappy alien territory it just becomes tedious.

Shame.
