Hi guys,
My speedo is out by a fair way. At 60mph its reading 70, and by the time I get to 90mph its reading over a ton.
The mileage is the same, it rises about 10% faster than the sat nav.
Can this be adjusted or put right by any means?
Cheers!

It seems that the newer style instruments that you also should have should be able to be re-calibrated. May be somebody can clear this up to all of us, as i am currently re-building mine and also bought (Caerbont) newer style meters.

Nice car you have!! Is it 16" you have on the front as well? They really fill the wheel-arches very nicely. Probably you will have height-adhustable shocks also?

Hi,
Its running on 15" on the front and 16" on the rear. The suspension is adjustable but I have only had a quick look so dont know much about it.
The brakes on the rear look standard but the front has "Wilwood" calipers. I am going to give it a better inspection over the next few weeks if I can pry myself from the drivers seat!

The instruments can be recalibrated, but it requires a soldering iron and knowledge of which parts of the PCB to bridge (or unbridge). Probably best left for the manufacturer unless anyone has the info since it's an awful lot of combinations... The aftermarket ones sold by the same company have switches for calibration, so chances are it's possible to work it out. I would do so, but my speedo is very non-linear as well as being inaccurate, so it's being replaced.
