OK, so at present I have 3 day to day cars
- a Mondeo estate - family wagon "57" plate - 12k miles pa
- a VW Golf GTD 170 '61 plate - commuter slag - 12k miles pa
- an MX5 mk 2 "X" plate - track and weekend toy - 3k miles pa

I am looking to change at least 2 of the 3
- Mondeo to a Volvo XC90 around about a "60" plate (7 seater wanted)
- Golf for a Golf Mk5 R32 / Mk 6 GTI
- MX5 for entry level Caterham / Westfield

OR
- Golf for M3 / RS4 / IS-F (favourite is IS-F for being different)
- with that option would keep or sell the MX5 to help the running costs, could not afford the Caterham as well.

Need to run them for "reasonable" money and the family car and commuter car NEED to be reliable
Suggestions, alternatives, other options all welcome. Budget is c45k for the 3 cars.
Surprise me?......
