Another 350i for Sale.

Hi

Just seen another 350i for sale this time on P/H classifieds.

To me it looks like a early S2 as it still has the early door mirrors.

It needs the hood repaired or replaced.

The engine compartment doesn't look like its been played with in fact it looks a little neglected and needs a bit of TLC.

Looks to me that the tear in the roof would be an easy fix, could patch it in the inside and use some sealant like stormsure, though this would require removing the hood to get it on a flat surface, but is simple enough to do (unless you find some rusted bolts that are a pain to remove....), or sew it up, again with some sort of patch on the inside,no need to remove the hood at all then, admittedly would not look quite as good, but would be a lot quicker! And also cheaper than a new roof.

That car was discussed in another post.
The funny thing is I had that car inspected last year, and it was a real basket case! In the advert you posted up it says it will be all sorted, painted and MOTed by the auction.
Because its a car missing from my collection, I asked the auctioner could he let me have any proof of the work done i.e. pics etc.
He came back to me saying he has none just the word of the vendor. He says he will try and get some info as he apprecates buyer will want proof.
The car was up for sale last year (needing a rebuild) for £2,990 so it will be interesting to see if he provideds the proof and if its sells and what for!
