Decided the other day to look through my freezer. In there I have (amongst other things)

1 whole corn fed free range chicken
2 duck breasts
4 pork escalopes

All of these have been in there for a long time... possibly up to 2 years! (all were bought fresh and then frozen)

Question is, do I need to bin them, or will they still be ok? My freezer is 4 stars.

Unless their covered in freezer burns I'd say they're good to go. In fact stick the duck and pork in the chicken and then introduce it to the weber then enjoy.

Or if they are looking a bit rough then cover them in hot sauce. Good to go again.

As Mr Roper says, unless they're freezer burned they should be fine.

Texture might not be the best but they won't kill you.

All will be perfectly safe to eat, the only consideration being that fat goes rancid after a while, even when frozen.

Scratch a bit off, smell it, and see what you think.

Personally I'd bung it all in a jalfrezi where you won't notice any 'off' taste.
