New to Porsche, new to GT3...

So... Petrol head life started young for me as a car nut and working my way through a few rotters (XR3i / RS Turbo / banana yellow Talbot Samba / even a beige metro) to start with. Then, from my 20's progressed on to and through 3 Ferrari's (2 x 348 - one written off in Switzerland but that’s another story - and a 355 which I loved) but then BAM! Did my bike license and was completely bitten by the superbike bug.
Fast forward 15 years, still loving the bike thing (even do some racing and many track days) Desmo / Panigale / mint 1998 R1 and a rotten green 250 xer (Jay??) in the garage, I've been tempted back in to 'proper car ownership' (have an 03 RS6 for daily but not quite the sporty thing). A mate of mine (VonSenger) has an R8 and it got my car juices seriously flowing again - love that car.

So, it is after a long journey and with great pleasure I step back in to proper motor ownership and for the first time Porsche ownership. Going to collect this next Friday, so it looks like it's a kids count down to Christmas for me till then...

Is that the one that was driven with no oil or water and used for drag racing on the streets of Oldham before being stolen by a hobbit and crashed in to Harry Potters Ford Anglia? I think I know the one.
