Good lunch spots in London?

Afternoon

I will be in London on Monday and Tuesday for a course, held at the British Museum (WC1)

Is there anywhere local i can get a decent lunch (quantity and quality as will be in the blody class room for 10 hours a day), thinking pulled pork roll, good quality sarnie, noodle type things.

All I know is I will ave a lunch break, not sure on how long, so looking as local as possible. Don't really fancy the Pret / Costa / McDonalds type route if I can avoid

Bodeans on Poland Street is a 15min walk from British Museum.. Only place round thay way that does pulled pork, burnt ends.. that sort of BBQ stuff.
very quick service too.

Covent Garden is a 10min walk.. loads of places round there too.

Right by the British museum, it serves okonomiaki, a Japanese omelette type thing. Good fun though.

For a quick and interesting sandwich, try Hummus Bros at the bottom of Southampton Row.

I wouldn't risk the walk to Bodeans tbh - nice though it is, although Pitt Cue Co is better but you always have to queue.

Didn't manage to get far at all from the course centre due to it being run by inept turds (even more frustrating in that I paid for it myself as it is to help me when I move to China in August) so slummed it on the beers at the Museum Tavern (and whatever generic pub grub they had)
