if you were going to spend £30k on a chim just to get a 3 year warranty... you need your head sorting out.

A warranty is easy to give on a Griff or Chim as they use very cheap old Ford/Rover/Vauhall parts. Engine & drivetrain is bomb proof, especially on lower milage cars. Simples.

Glad I haggled for the extra year's warranty earlier this week. Might ask for the third year now?!

Agreed. Have had 2 chims, the last of which came from them, and in my very humble opinion, you get what you pay for.

In 1986 I stopped at Fernies to stick my nose against the window. Salesman came out - " Want a test drive?" He said. " I've got no money" I said "so it'll be a waste of your time". " You will have one day" he said throwing me the keys.
Little did he know - 10 TVRs later I've spent a fortune on them ( although sadly not with Fernies)
