Under £100 wireless kit
Discussion
Ideally I'd like to setup a wireless network between a desktop and laptop. The desktop is next to the NTL cable entry point, so doesn't need it's own wireless card if it's attached to the wireless router.
Any recommendations?
I've found this going cheap on scan.co.uk, but I doubt it's much good!

Following advice on PH to my similar info request I was recommended and bought the following at Simply Computers. Delivered in 48 hours and does exactly what it said on the box. It comes with a free cardwireless card for the laptop.

I've just ordered one of these:
www.simply.co.uk/productinformation/47999/WW/D-Link_108Mbps_Wireless_bundle(DI-624__and__DWL-G650)/index.htm
so can't say if it's any good but £72.99 for both and 108Mbps can't be too bad

Largely depends whether you already have a BB modem/router, since these are 2 a penny these days.
Personally I wouldn't go for the KCorp one (other than the fact that I've never heard of them, the details on Scan seem patchy - ie spec-wise).
Hut's suggestion is sound and I would advise anything by NetGear, D-Link, 3Com, Buffalo.
Couple of good bundles here

I bought a Netgear DG834G from www.broadbandstuff.co.uk - it combines an ADSL modem, router, firewall and 802.11a/g access point. Dead easy to set up and (so far) reliable.
