..I put a copy of this in GG, because I felt it deserved much wider audience than it was getting in Scale Models.. Not remotely affiliated with the author, only saw it today and thought PHers would enjoy seeing it! I did ask and he said he was more than happy for me to quote it. Everyone who's seen it seems thoroughly impressed so seemed a nice idea.

Anyway, seems my thread disappeared without a trace just a few minutes after posting. Why's that?

If I shouldn't be reposting it even with permission, then I'm sure moving the original to GG would have the same effect

Well, I guess it still exists in Scale Models...some mod decisions are unbelievable, but as they're generally too arrogant to explain themselves I guess it'll continue.

Hmmm, ok. Not something I've done before, but it something I've seen pretty regularly, and since the original was only a page and a half and silent for the last month I figured the logical solution would be to let mine run afresh, or move the original in its place.

Trying to give PH some cool material and get the kid a bit of recognition is proving a damn sight harder than I thought

It's no good trying to rationalise what goes on here. Must weirdness prevails. I had a whimsical thread about farting moved to the Health Matters forum and a monkey holding its toe deleted because someone couldn't distinguish a toe from a todger.
