I'm trying to open www.medigen.com.tw via an ADSL router but I get a message . So I logged into the router and tried pinging but 0/4 packets received back. I searched the company name on Google and it came up with the website but when I clicked either the link or the cache I got the same can't find error message.

So then I tried the address from my other pc via dial-up and got the homepage no problem.

Seems bizarre - any ideas?

Mmmm. I'm thinking that the server must be intermittently down. Searching Medigen Biotechnology on Google throws up the link to the homepage but neither BB or dial-up is getting there at the moment. How can Google 'see' it if the site's server is down?

I'll try again tomorrow - thanks Simpo

because google doesn't "actively" search it searches from it's own cache which may be a week old or longer, this enables the speedy results, hence why the site may still appear to google
