Afternoon All,
I need to replace the two 7inch headlight units in my 1986 350 S2 and am having a drama.
The ones that have come out are Cibie / Valeo units with 3 fixing tabs around the rim two at the top at about 45 degrees to the centre and the third fixing at the bottom again at about 45 degrees to the centre.
Can any one tell me where I can get this unit from or do I now need to change the shells etc ?
I really cant believe how sometimes the easiet things on these develop into there own project just to replace !
Any help would be really appreciated.
Regards

The Cibie are more expensive..There is a crystal version that are really bright..They should have the fixing lugs x 3 on the back but check before you buy..You will need the adjuster pins from the old unit..Thanks also for reminding me that i need to buy a new lens...Ziga

Standard 7" round headlights I believe. Try Paddock Land Rover spares. About £25 for a pair of Wipac branded lamp units smile

To fit the standard 7" you will need to change the shells to the standard lucas type. The Cibie on the series 2 350 uses a unique fixing with clip in lugs. On my Taimar I have fitted new plastic shells and new lenses with some excellent Osram high output bulbs.
