Question......
Is a Sagaris worth 30k more than a Cerbera?
If you look at the classifieds on here Sagaris asking prices are 50k-56k depending on mileage,an average Sag mileage seems to be 15000-20000 miles
There is a 52 plate 4.5 Cerbera on here with 23000 miles for less than 25k and some good ones for less than 20k
OK,Cerbs are an older car but a good one will have had a great deal of money on it so is that an issue?
I have driven Chim`s and a Sag and have a Cerb....and i`m not totally convinced that a Sag is worth 30k more than a Cerb.....its certainly not 30k`s worth more fun!
What do you think?

Depends what people want to pay I suppose. When it came out it was not liked by the purist for some reason but I think it's lovely. Would love one with a 4.5 engine but is it worth 30k plus more than a cerb...nope as a good cerb should now be 30k plus.

I have a Sag and a very good Cerb. The Sag is worth the difference when you simply get out of one and drive the other - try it if you don't believe me.
That`s a very fair comment.........but is it 30k`s worth? If you look at the cars side by side, both look good, if you look underneath they have a very similar construction, if you look inside both have rough edges and neither are Ferrari quality inside or out.
From a design perspective there is a 10 year age gap, but mine were only made 4 years apart so not sure age comes into the equation very much.
But when you drive them the Sagaris really is much more sorted and capable, but if that is worth nothing or £30K+ is a very personal thing.
I've been lucky enough to drive Dean's Sag on track and under no illusion that with more experience with it it would be faster on track than my Cerb. Is a couple of seconds a lap worth 30k? For the whole package? Perhaps.
I'm pretty sure that if the question was narrowed to going on a long Euro jaunt (which I enjoy)/road car I'm not so sure the 30k argument stands up. Throw in the need/preference to take the kids out then obviously no (Satan get behind me)
I was sorely tempted a couple of years back when the gap was 20k but its widening. I'm also 'financially committed' to my Cerb lol

The question should be on the 350 forum
...probably has been done to death already !
Reduce the question to free choice rather than aspiration,I love my Cerbs,my partner her T350,nice car,but out of choice i`m not a great fan of the Sagaris, bit too "circus has come to town" for me,but to each their own .. hasten to add i`d defend it to the hilt against anti TVR propaganda !
The additional cost... some hapless soul has recently paid $322,000 for a Messerschmitt Tiger that will probably rarely see the road again,my electrician spends a fortune on fishing rods ???!! ..so long as it`s what you want and are happy to stump up the entry fee that must surely justify the additional levy, little to do with common sense.
