It's an air field and quite open but with twisty bits as well as quite fast bits.
Here are two video's I made which may help you see what the track is like.

Its a course of brand new asphalt, which has been laid in a planed out recess in the existing terrible airfield asphalt.

This give Blyton the best of both - excellent grippy black top but with the run-offs that youd expect at an airfield.

Sprint = one run on the course, or one lap if its a complete circuit. I suppose that this is why.

Nice little track. With plenty of run off so you can push the limits pretty hard.

This was last year giving a passenger ride...

It's really well suited for my MX-5 and I hope to take it back there this year.

Here's another video from Blyton:

It is a fun circuit. Now has an extra clubhouse so better facilities and a warm room for your grub!

Hi, This track is a firm favourite with my pals and myself. You won't need 8th gear, but you will have fun. Good tarmac, well organised and a club atmosphere. I should be on commission with the track days we have attended there over the years. Go for it!
Cheers.

Be careful of the new concrete kerbs they have installed but a lovely smooth track.

Nice track and fun to drive, all be it narrow and flat. If you plan on organising a day there make sure you get everything in writing though as the owner likes to move the goal posts..... A lot!

If you are just paying for a space on a pre organised day then you should be fine.

Can you expand on that?

We had several issues but the worst being that our day was a split of normal track driving and drifting. Several people came for the weekend with the promise of being able to drift the full track only to be told on the day that they would only be able to have one of their previously agreed four track sessions. This session was on a shorter track and they dumped water on all of the corners which wasn't ideal for the grip sessions either frown

As said before it's a great venue for a track day and anyone who goes will have a great day. It's a shame that the day we had planned got changed with no prior warning.

Thanks for comments, will certainly add it to the list of tracks to drive. Id be doing it through a pre organised day so hopefully wouldn't encounter any similar issues.
