I know it is the mark of an anorak (because I tend to remember cars/ registration numbers even in passing) but yesterday I drove from Swansea to Nottingham - up via M4/bridge/M5 back via M50/Ross/Monmouth.
On the way up I followed an A5 3.0TDi with a private plate S7 *** across the bridge and onto the M5 Northbound (at about 10.30am).
On the way home, at about 4.30pm I passed the same A5 on the M50 before Ross, going the south like me. Seemed like an amazing coincidence at the time - all the possible cars/roads/times and I saw the same one twice on different roads at either end of the day...

I got overtaken twice in 10 miles by the same car in the back roads near York the other day. I guess I'd taken a more direct route...

Also, both overtakes on bends, and for one I'd estimate 2.5x the posted limit. Noice. Guess the brand.

I saw a Noble on the M25. A week later I saw the same car near Paris.

What freaks me out is when I've gone past a car and then a few miles later swear I'm going past the same car again and can't figure how they got in front (I'm not talking on the motorway or a DC). I then spend a few seconds really trying to remember if it was the same car, or maybe it's dejavu, or I'm dreaming again, or a glitch in the matrix etc etc.

on a friday night going down the M40 to see friends in bracknell, was overtaken by new red Corvette. then, two days later on the sunday going back home, was overtaken by the same corvette! thought it must have been a huge coincidence, but how many £60k red corvettes can there be in the UK?

A few years ago, I remember stopping to admire one of these that was parked in the visitors car park at work. Its one of my favourite Type-Rs, was in that fab blue colour and had a distinctive number plate, so was pretty memorable.

A few hours later, after finishing work, popping round to halfords to get some new windscreen wipers, then drove from Portsmouth, via M27,M3 and the A34, I overtook the same car just by the A34/M4 junction. So pleased to get two glimpses of it in a day!
