That time of year again, so did the usual customary searches, only this year things are a wee tad different...

Cars are, a 2009 Honda FRV 1.8, and a 2010 Honda Civic Type R (M200)

Cover needed for business use, the missus is a Childminder, and I am up and down the M6 like a bleedin Yoyo.

Shedloads of NCB etc...

Last year with AXA, approx £500 from memory, renewal £400 approx!

And the good news is that the AA were even lower at £320

(This is for both!)

Anyone else had some good news for a change?

Mine went from £330 with Swiftcover to £280 with Aviva. Not great, but there was £80 cashback available via Quidco which was paid out 4 weeks later, so its cost me £200 fully comp!

£320 for both? yikes

I pay more than double that for one.
Mmm, more shopping around needed this year.

I went from £700 to £300 smile

With AXA this year, they seem to be on a 'push' for new customers judging by their pricing!
Or it could be a soft market at the moment.

Who knows. Oh, yeah, I do.

My "fleet" policy was £2,300, now reduced to £1,800 and that's after adding 6 points and a claim. I consider that marvellous news. smile

A good time to renew then smile
Yes it is !

One of the problems is telling people that rates are softening.

They may well get a renewal quote at similar to last year and think "gosh, hasn't gone up". When in fact they could get a better deal.

Shop around !
