i know you can get a morgage hol normally fairly easily - if you are selling though are you likely to get one? ask as have house for sale with no tenants so 2 morgages. fine if its sold quickly but just thinking in case its not?

thanks

The only way you will know for sure is to ask them directly.

If your product allows payment holidays and you're eligible then they will give you a payment holiday, but not just because your selling and will have to pay two mortgages.

I have the option for one for 6 months...

Be aware that you will only generally get one mortgage holiday during a mortgage, so if you decided to take it now and house sells in a week... you have lost the chance to use it later.

Also, don't forget that payment holidays result in the lender adding the monthly interest to your balance, so the money you don't pay is just deferred rather than actually missed.
