e36 e46 M3 ragtops

anybody changed from the e36 m3 ragtop to the e46 m3 ragtop
did you feel like you made a good choice and not just the power on about everyday use
just taken a M3 e46 ragtop out and it seemed to be more noise inside than the older one
whats peoples thought on it

Hi,

I used to own an E46 M3 convertible and am currently the owner of an E36 M3 convertible. The noise inside the car from my memory was quieter in the E46 by some distance. The technology is a decade apart and far far far far better on the E46. Try a few others as the one you tested sounded like a bit of a lemon!

turned out the passenger window was down just a little and that was causing noise in cabbing
in the end bought it 2 weeks latter and the car is perfect
at the momment get the chance to drive them back to back and the e46 is on another plant to the e36
