new Fezza on order
Discussion
Hi all,
I've not owned a Ford since 1998, but ordered a new Fiesta at the weekend.
The reason for the car is for station runs (I commute), and for my parents to use at weekends.
The brief was to replace my Mini Cooper S with something that wasn't costing me a fortune to run, and something that my parents would be comfortable driving. I also wanted something a bit more economical.
Ordered:
Fiesta Zetec
1.0T 100PS EcoBoost engine
5 speed manual
3 Door
Panther Black
DAB radio + Ford SYNC
Car Mats
Spare Wheel
One thing I couldn't quite get my head around is that car mats is an optional extra? wow!
Delivery is mid April they tell me.

Good choice sir! The Ecoboost engine is great in the Fiesta.
Cheers.. I was impressed with the engine. Very tall gears, so it made it feel like you were racing it a bit just to get it over 4k
Decent noise too I thought. I wasn't expecting to like the noise from a 3 cylinder engine, but it was quite pleasant. Quite bassy.
My list of engines and cylinders now has a new member

3 cylinder
4 cylinder
6 cylinder (straight and V)
8 cylinder
10 cylinder
Must get a 12 cylinder! even if just for a week
