Not seen the aftermath only had a telephone report

Apparently she was following a car along a 30 mph single carriage way, said car in front swings over onto rigthand lane, she assumes hes going to park on that side of the road, she carries on and draws along side and he swings accross her to enter a car park on the left (I asume hes gone onto wrong side of the road cos its easier to turn into car park from there but seems a bit extreme)

Impact has damaged Mrs Lugz front driver side wheel making the car un-driveable.

Is fault easily established here or is it gonna go knock for knock with insurance companys ?

Thanks in advance

I can't imagine that going anything other than 50/50.

Was the other guy indicating? If not, he's a bit stupid but will probably be found in the right as he would have right of way being in front?

If he wasn't indicating, I think it'd still be judged to be both parties to blame. She shouldn't have tried to undertake; he shouldn't have changed lanes without looking.

If the other driver hit the Mrs on the drivers wheel she must have been past the other car when it swung in.

We probably need more specifics to make a fair judgement.

Of course she can if he was still moving. I'm fairly confident that it will either go 50/50 or 100% your wife's fault, I'm afraid. Probably 50/50.

Even if he's been signalling right I think it would probably still go knock-for-knock.

Based on the info available 50/50 is the best you can hope for.
Might go all in the other drivers favour though.
Had something similar happen to me a few years back and it went 50/50.

He failed to indicate and presumably didn't check his surroundings for other cars before maneuvering.

She continued straight ahead on the basis of a (false) assumption about what the car in front was going to do.

50/50 would be my guess.
