Looking to get one to prevent cars that are standing about a few days-week from Battery drain,
Anyone have one use one recommend one?

Ctek XS3600. Ctek being pretty much the default answer.

Yep, CTek are great. Have ours for about 3 years and never had a problem.

If the battery is in half decent condition they should be able to sit for quite a while, like weeks.

That really depends on what is connected to the battery when the ignition is off and the key out.

Doesn't take long for an alarm/immobiliser to flatten the battery on my MX5. (Little battery).

Another vote for the Ctek charger. Can't fault it.

Had 2 CTEKs fail on me. I don't think they like damp garages.

Halfords own charger has been more reliable for me and certainly dishes out more current.
