i have a 98 Esprit with a windscreen that needs some love ! i have heard of glass polishing but am hoping that the brains on this forum out there are able to point me either towards a product to try, or not as the case maybe. So far as i know replacement windscreens are not cheap suprise suprise but i have a rotary polisher so might be able to do some good or some damage depending . . . any pointers ?

Cerium oxide by rotary with the correct glass cutting pad - not paint polishing foam pads. You need the proper glass cutting ones. HOWEVER, mask up the paintwork as you don't want sling/splatter on paint as it will scratch it in an instant. Plus you may cause more harm than good. Consider getting it professionally glass polished; there must be people who specialise in it.

Not easy to do though.

As above .... get a pro to do it. If you do it yourself you're in danger of 'lensing' the screen and distorting your vision.

Could be worth contact KDS over in Kent. Kelly may be able to do this or be able to point you towards someone who can.
