Does anyone care to post up a brief rundown on the best books, all things tvr-related? Are there any specifically about Griffs to be recommended?

For general reading then for Griffith alone there is Roger Shackleton's 'The TVR Griffith Story'

Peter Filby's recent TVR books are excellent but they cover the early years with the most recent covering the Martin Lilley era.

Few books are perfect but for nice general 'easy reads' I'd suggest TVR 'Ever the Extrovert' and TVR 'All the cars'
Both are good general purpose reading but there are some mistakes in there.

Ive a book called 'muscles and curves' which is more related the earlier TVRs but some good reading on Griffiths and Chims

I bought John Tipler's book, "TVR", oooh, in 2002 from David Geralds when I was tyre kicking for my first Tiv.

It gives a potted history of the marque from the early days up to 1998 - the date of the last reprint. It's full of enthusiasm, mentioning the Speed 12 and how Peter Wheeler was closely involved with the Tuscan Challenge cars. All black & white photos - but plenty of them.

Certainly got my juices flowing!!
