Hi Guys i'm just in the process of buying an s3, it requires (with other things) a new throttle pot and a sender unit for the oil pressure guage. If you can push me in the right direction of either or both i'd be much abliged! cheers Rob

I picked up a new throttle pot off ebay recently - can't seem to get into the bay at the mo but will post details as soon as I can.

Hi Rob,
Welcome to the forum.

As I mentioned on Sunday, I got my 1/8 oil press sender from Hose Fittings UK, search them on Google or fleabay. Price was less than £15 inc p&p, next day delivery.

It's a two terminal universal sender, so you will have to run an extra wire to the nearby earth point, and change the existing connector to a round or fork terminal end.
Works a treat.

Good luck,
Glen.

Search for rover 400, 45 and 25 throttle pots on the bay as well as their MG equivalents as they are the same as the original ford one and much cheaper

Hi Folks,

My throttle pot is toast. I'm going to pick up the throttle pot as described above, but I am wondering does it come with a connector? The connector I have is different, and I don't mind soldering wires to a new connector as long as I can lay my hands on one.

Cheers
P

Edit - I guess I need to order the Jenvey TPS, hence the different connector..
