Now have the 16" Estorils for the front, and thinking maybe go for something (colour-wise) a tad different to the standard (and before fitting new tyres). Car is Highland Pearl, which is grey on cloudy days, and grey with sparkly blues, reds, greens etc when the sun hits it, like maybe once or twice a year frown

I'm not convinced this is a good idea, but I keep wondering what it would look like if the wheels were say a dark graphite/sparkly black sort of colour...

Any thoughts chaps?

piccie below, 'scuse the missing rear wheel centre, now have a new set (courtesy of TVR Beaver)

Personally with the colour of the car I'd keep 'em silver.

Plastidip them... If you don't like it you can peel it off.

I did mine flat black a couple of months back and love it. It only took 45 mins to do all 4 wheels without removing them and they look fine to me (and to those that have seen them). It costs about £6 a can and uses 1.5 cans per wheel...

Happy New Year Chilli if I haven't already said so,

My New Year's resolution is to be civil to our cousins on this forum smile, althgough I note there has already been some provocation from your colleague TJC46.

IMHO as your have dark paintwork probabaly be best to leave the wheels in the original colour.

Out of interest how do the 16" wheels feel compared to the 15"? Have often thought about doing this myself.

Chilli, I've just sprayed my Imolas with Plastidip, so if you want to see what matt black looks like you're welcome to try them on your car.

If you want something a little different, maybe a 'smoke' finish to the silver. Sort of not grey and not silver if you get whay I mean. Tasty and wont need cleaning so much.
Hope you ok mate thumbup
