Insuring more than 1 car with 1 being a toy - Heritage are great. I have the following insured for business use for 2 driver
Tuscan
Audi A6 3.0tdi Quattro
Subaru Outback 3.0rn
Skoda Fabia 1.4
Total cost £1400 pa. I have (week did until 3 days ago) 9 points, 2 non fault accidents and 1 fault (no 3rd party involved)
I though the price was pretty good. Tusc limited to 6k miles pa, Fabia 10k pa others 20k pa
Added my Alpine for another £200 pa

I'm just in the process of swapping the Chim, plus 3 other cars (wife + 2 daugthers) onto an Admiral multicar policy. I reckon we've saved around £30-£40 per car.
When I was on the phone to them I was expecting the call to end when I mentioned the TVR, as I suspected they may not cover it (and the guy did ask whether a TVR Chimaera 450 was "some kind of pick-up truck" because he'd never heard of it!!) but in the end it didn't seem to be an issue.
The TVR element of the policy was £254 (3000 mile), whereas last year I paid £286.

If you don't mind a limited mileage classic policy I have used RH Insurance over the years on Porsches, Mercs, BMW's and they have always been very good. My recently purchased 400 Chimaera is £278 fully comp limited to 3000 miles a year. Tel 01277 206911

Last years price from Mannings was very good, havent had the renewal yet...
Tried to insure the TVR on a 'normal' policy but it just works out too expensive once all the mods are declared. Heritage (I think it was them, big ad in back of sprint, quote comes through as chaucer) are pretty good and got fairly close on price for my 'fleet' of 4 cars but in the end Aviva for the normal cars and Mannings for the TVR worked out cheapest.

Try MSM.
http://www.msminsurance.co.uk/
They are a small family business that seem to care about their customers, I've had great service from them for three years now.
They helped me chase down a French driver that opened his door into my TVR, they made getting the small chip in my paint repaired an easy process.
So MSM are not just cheaper for me, their service has also been tested & passed with flying colours.
I have a 6,000 mile classic policy, so no "no-claims discount".
But the whole "no-claims discount" is an industry marketing con anyway.
Unusually for a classic policy you get full class 1 business use thrown in, if my experience is anything to go by, other insurers will want up to an additional £200 for this.
Track day cover is not included if that bothers you, but you do get full UK & mainland Europe breakdown cover.
If your TVR is over 16 years old as many Chims & Griffs are these days, you will struggle to get European breakdown cover at a realistic cost.
Many insurers simply refuse to offer European breakdown cover on cars over 16 years old, which forces you to seek it elsewhere at great cost.
If like me you occasionally want to use your TVR to visit a client, if you're not bothered about track day cover yet have a 16 year old TVR and travel Europe every year.
Then MSM offer a great package.
They have no interest in penalty points & will not load your policy for these, MSM have never charged me for modifications however there is a £20 fee to register my TVR as dual fuel following my LPG conversion.
Highly recommended

Agreed, I'm with them at the moment and they've been great. Admittedly I don't have much choice at 24, but if I keep the car I'll be insuring with MSM again when it's due in the next couple of months.

I can`t seem to get a reasonable quote with track day cover .
REIS gave a good quote with track day cover. Manning weren't too bad either.Mark. said:

Genius
Classic Line - rang them up and negotiated.
Chimaera 400, UNLIMITED mileage (my fault, cannot stop driving it), £250 excess. No claims bonus not required. No points, one crash three years ago cost £4300. All UK TRACK DAYS COVERED (not just ATDO organised ones), £1000 excess on TDs, only accidental damage cover. Premium £424.
Not the cheapest, but unlimited mileage and all track days was my requirement.
Only proviso is I have to tell them in advance and get their approval for each track day, but so far I have had approval on:
Sprint event organised by a car club
Bedford MSV track day
Marham track weekend organised by experienced RAF amateurs
