I was jump starting a friends car who had a flat battery from my Porsche Boxster 2.7. The battery was totally flat so I was reving the engine for about 10 minutes. It appears the coolant fluid has dumped out and emptied the tank. Consequently the temp spikes and at the minute is undrivable until I get this fixed.
Has anyone had the same experience? Generally is this a replacement tank, any advice? frown

This is not uncommon. Head over to boxa.net and do a search. The tank in the boot at the rear just behind the driver splits and dumps coolant.
