New glass switches and Other Bits for V12V

I purchased #933 V12V new in July of last year. Tungston/Ob Black. As I brought it out from hibernation, decided to change a few things on interior and exterior...along with some service work.

- 4 glass switches for Sport, TC, Parking and Fog
- Swapped bright finish grill for black satin
- Swapped piano ski slope for carbon
- swapped painted door pulls for carbon

Astonbits pulled everything together and shipped quickly to my US dealer for install. All OEM parts...here are the numbers

Very cool mods. I do like the satin black grille and CF dash inserts.
Did you not consider also getting the CF gear shift gaiter surround to finish it off?
I think this piece looks much better than the chromed look piece.

I did consider it....I had been considering some changes but was unsure of how they would look, then about 2 weeks ago I was at my dealer and saw a new 2013 V8V with the black grill, carbon ski slope and glass buttons. I knew then that my priorities were the black grill and glass buttons at a minimum. I also decided to go ahead and swap out the piano black ski slope as I had never completely warmed to it and the glare could sometimes be extreme. The door handles were a "snap" decision as I placed my order.

I am 50/50 on whether the carbon or metal gear cover looks better. The metal does pick up some of the metal accents while the carbon would tend to be more subtle and slightly darker...the V8V I saw had the carbon gear cover and it looked good. I also considered the mirror caps and light finishers in the back and lastly the black exhaust tips.

Decided that i can always change later and this was enough for now....I don't want to overdo the carbon exterior....and the steel exhaust tips do add some contrast to the carbon rear. So for now I am done. I actually think my next purchase will be another set of OEM wheels(not sure which...maybe the ones with black instead of grey...and the less sticky tires. I would use the Corsas during the summer months and put the others on for the fall/winter/spring which can be very wet here in Seattle.

Yes I expect some to feel that way about those and other carbon parts...keeps life interesting

I think they look better than expected and are not quite as common as the mirror caps. Don't look cheap. But the argument for the subtlety of the painted version is strong. Only other car I have seen these on is the new vanquish. Will live with for awhile and may decide to switch back... Thanks for feedback

Very nice mods!!
First time I've seen the door pulls. I think I'd have been tempted by the gear surround and black exhausts but you're right, it's easy to go over the top.
