Been looking for events to do this year to make up for not going on the Euro tour and think I will give this a try for a change: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... - Which then ends at the TVR Brooklands meet.
Its only two weeks after Chatsworth and one week after the Duxford classic car show - A busy few weeks.
...any other S's tempted?

I have done that twice now first time not to bad
just got a bit lost, second time got a bit lost ,got
stooped for going through red light, then it rained not a
good place to just stop and put the roof on so got very
wet then got lost again, never made it to the Ace Café,to wet
and then the clutch went on the way home.
most of the tunnels are 30MPH some are 20 all have speed cameras
in them.
all good fun though

First time went really well, loads of convoys of 12-15 TVRs all over the place. Great runs through the secret tunnel etc.
Second time, utterly lost within 10 minutes. Satnav not working due to the high buildings, stopped very briefly to check the printed maps (nice red paint in some areas isn't there?); tried to be discrete but horrified when a convoy of 20+ pulled up behind me with some form of bizarre expectation I knew where I was

Obviously, from that point we were all lost for quite some time.
It's a good day out though

Managed to make it to one about 18 months ago just before my body off as the cars last proper ryn out and had a good time. Some lovely tvrs were there too. If I'm not working I'll be along but won't know until late April. Just need a louder exhaust. It only measures 105db at 4000rpm when last measured for a track day.
we are holding a camping weekend down on the Isle of Wight this summer if any of you S boys fancy it, you would be most welcome.

Oh no! I had seen this in Sprint and lodged it in the old brain as a must do, but I had not clocked the dates. I love the IOW and camping and Tiv's so it would have been fun.
Sorry Clive I will be off with Longers and the boys making some noise in the Black Forest. Maybe another time. So from this I take it you are not joining the S Euro Tour. Afraid the S boys will leave the Sag for dead around the twisties?
I hope you have a good weekend and that the weather Gods are kind to you, oh and well done on the charity event last year, top man
