Excuse the cross posting but I couldn't decide whether to post here or 'Readers Cars' .. went for the latter but any advice welcome!

Wow, good luck with that! Time is one thing if it's yours, but just how much of a workshop do you have to address the brake & fuel lines? This alone makes the car a scrapper frown
I hope you can see it through but please address the big stuff first or you'll just end up chucking good money after bad I'm afraid.
You do know it will never be worth much don't you?

Fairly well equipped so not too worried about fabrication / labour. As for future value, I'm under no illusions - certai.ly not prepared to put more than a few hundred into parts. Estimate breaking value at around 750 inc leather interior and good wheels, running value 1k? Feel free to disagree smile

My post was well intentioned as I'm sure you had realised, but as I said do the big stuff first or just get quotes to do the fuel & brake lines, you need to remove the rear axle yikeswoohoo

There are ways of doing it with flexible hoses that don't require the rear axle to be dropped, I think Promax have developed the solution if I recall correctly?
