Auto GP, any good?

Never been to a race or even seen them on the telly before, I’m heading to Donington in Sept to catch the Superstars & they’re on the bill. Just wondering what to expect really.

They’re also on the Blancpain Endurance Series bill at Silverstone in June. With no World Series of Renault this year I'm deciding whether to head down there or not.

It's what used to be Euro F3000. They changed to the old A1gp cars a few years ago and renamed the championship to Auto Gp. They revised the bodywork on the cars for this season so they look a bit different now. It's similar racing to other 1 chssis single seater formula.

As said already they sound fantastic! Like shotgun gun fire on downshift. There are some decent drivers in the series but due to the increasing number of single seater series there are also some drivers not so good. But i suppose this is the same in the majority of racing series. Nonetheless very much worth a watch.

Superstars is awesome! Only seen a couple of races at Magione in 2009, but loved it. Looking forward to September at Donington though.

The AutoGP website has whole race video, so judge for yourself. I've not seen them in the flesh, but have enjoyed the races I've seen coverage of. Some promising talent mixed in with the ride buyers. Might benefit from the demise of F2?
