Small Stone Chips?

I have the inevitable small stone chips at the bottom front right and left of my front valance. I know it's going to happen but what does everyone do about them?
Do you just leave them and wait until there are enough of them that they become obvious and then get this area repaired? Or is there such a thing as a touch up kit just to touch up the chips?
My car is Mendip blue 2 and I think that after a while they will become more obvious than if it were a silver colour type or white for instance.

I took out the smart repair insurance when I bought the car so had them along for every chip I found. Actually paid off for me. Now I would do it myself using something like this:

Or if you check out your local regional area on the PH forums and ask if anybody local to you can recommend a good chip repairer. You'll have a response within a day or so ( unless you live in the Outer Hebrides or similar!)

Despite the fact that I don't drive too close to other vehicles, I seem to get a stone chip somewhere on my car every time I go out in it, picked up two on the front bumper this afternoon!!
I use the genuine Aston touch up paint, I like the colour match and it's nice paint to sand and polish, my chip repair drill is as follows:
On an Aston most times the chip will only require clear coat and no base coat colour, because the paint on the car is so thick. I normally apply the paint with a cocktail stick or a chewed match stick, a brush puts on way too much paint. Several light coats may be required as the paint sinks when dry, ideally you want the paint in the chip to be slightly proud of the surrounding area.
When properly dry (a couple of days), I wet flat the chip with 2000 grade wet and dry paper and soapy water, the objective is to leave the area smooth.
The sanded area will now have a flat dull finish, polish the affected area with a very mild cutting compound and finish with a coat of wax polish.
With a bit of practice, a repair like this will be almost invisible, only you will know it is there.

Another fan of Chipex here. When I bought my Jag last year, it had a nasty scratch on it aout 2 inches long (and 2 small dents). The dealer said they would repair it but messed me about and finally asked me to get a quote from chips away. The quote was £380 which Stratstone paid me. I then got a dent man to sort the bodywork out (£50) and bought a Chipex set (£27).
The Chipex stuff worked a dream, and the scratch was quite deep. Took quite a few applications but you would really struggle to find the repair! And to top it off, I made a profit!!

Chipex is much easier to use and gives better results (according to Jockmans skills

You are probably right Mike. I merely googled in response to the OP's post and it was one of the first that came up and I said "something ike this" to point him on his way. I didn't get on too well with Chipex, I found Halfords a much better option - seriously! They will make up exactly the colour you require and put it in a 'pen' with a very fine metal nib. It is very easy to then carefully fill the chips in. I used this to great effect on my Blu Le Mans Ferrari as well as my Meteorite V8V. Really worth a look and very good value.

Did you just go there with the paint code?Similarly, I used a black sharpy marker pen to fill in the chipped metal grates in the bottom of my front bumper. Looked far better afterwards (silver speckles before - all black afterwards) and only took 5 minutes.
Following this thread I ordered a Chipex set yesterday as I have 2 small stone chips on the front bumper that have been bugging me (only 2000 miles since new, so Ive been really unlucky there I think).
Anyway the kit arrived promptly this morning so thats really great service from Chipex. On first glance the kit looks really comprehensive too and comes with a lot more than I expected!
Interestingly the base coat for Morning Frost White appears to be a solid creamy white and the top coat is a watery beige white with heavy pearlescent content (looks like pearlescent Yakult!). I expected the top coat to be clear lacquer as it always has been on any other touch up sets I have bought.
Anyway the kit arrived promptly this morning so thats really great service from Chipex. On first glance the kit looks really comprehensive too and comes with a lot more than I expected!

The lacquer pigment is what gives the "flip" in colour, Mako Blue & Lightning Silver are the sameJockman told me to make sure you properly clean out the chips and thoroughly shake the paint tin.

Do not use the brushes, use a cocktail stick instead (as suggested).
Oh, and don't drink the stuff, regardless of how much it looks like Yakult
