Just looked up the results and it confirms what we all know about which is the greatest TVR


Chimaera - 18
T350c - 52
Cerbera - 82
Tuscan - 93 ( and last )

I must be blind -yes yes, I know I was earlier in the year, but I didn't see a
Tuscan in London, unless perhaps it joined at the proper event start in Calais?

The tuscan didnt actually go on the run, I (t350c)missed a few checkpoints along the way avoiding the hefty fines and so go penalised! (plus missed the last one cos i was still in bed.... Bl**dy alarm clock didnt work!). but the cerb didnt do part of the run, as he decided to stay in france and not do the spanish leg due to tyre problems. otherwise all three tvr's made it hope without problems, more than can be said for the others.

You lot must have almost driven right by my house 'tween Gatwick & Arundel while I was indoors bored...:sigh:

Went to rugby in Chichester Saturday, saw a few tasty motors on the roads, none stickered up so dont know if they where Cannonballers or not.

Same again next year?

re cannonball 8000, ' slightly ott ' mine is the ice titanium tuscan S pictured on the monte carlo finish line, this was the 1st tuscan /tvr, home, and according to the event organisers the 1st tvr 2 complete this variant of the cannonball. the car finished 46 of 100 and NEVER broke down, however did stop to check a possible missfire costing 45mins, asran diagnostic check with laptop (better to err on side of caution as car less than 2mnths old) so YES the there were no problems and a verified ( video'd and taken from road angel and another gps system) 178mph with the roof off. a big thanks to all my sponsors listed/depicted on the car, and especially all the boys at Silverstone TVR and big thanks to co-driver Matt

on cannonball 8000 think u'll find the exact opposite is true so hee hee ha ha

Shaun, Dean here from the silver Carrera... i'm now laughing about the 5-6 hours we lost in the mountains... how did we end up there? I think that's a record for the longest coast down to a petrol station.
