Must apologise for the long post but....

Just looking at the cars Ive owned previous, some very special some not so!

I work with cars but these were all mine and ive mostly always had the use of company car so were toys since I really do love cars!(you will notice I used to work for Volvo with the Volvo pics in background to some pics!)

You will notice I like to change a lot! There are probably others Ive missed along the way too!

A spitfire, MK1 200sx, Escort MK2, 2cv to name but a few!!

I Didn`t need to be paying insurance and tax etc as i had the company car and quite often they hardly got used but I just had to own them and at the time for different reasons!

My very first car back in 1990 was a 1982 Fiesta 1.3 Supersport in red loved that car...

second was a Mini 1000 In rally colours

3rd was an RS1600i replica

4th was an Mk2 Escort RS2000 Taught me rear drive , I was 19

5th was this.....
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

This really did teach me opposite lock! I thought I was Jimmy Mcrae at the time always looking out the side window!
This thing never drove in a straight line!

Family life came along and I sold it as got my first company car a stty 1991 1.3 Escort Eclipse that was already 7 years old!

Then a string of company cars from A Clio Williams to a Mondeo Diesel!

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

MR2 Turbo,300 bhp Had this for 7 years from about 1999-2006 loved it and tamed it,very sideways taught me mid engined driving skills. Looking back, comical wing on the back and uuurgh stickers!

Bought a Westfield V8 that was an animal but didnt keep it long as it had ripped the axle bars from the chassis!!!no pics though im afraid...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Then got this, in addition to MR2 started out as white got it done in gulf colours, best handling car ever with Tein suspension half cage and bracing etc loved it until some nob crashed into me on holiday in it in cornwall. so back to just MR2 and company car.

sold MR2 wanted a 200SX

Then bought a mental 400 bhp 200sx that was in horrible green but had racelogic traction control etc etc. bloody mental but sold it before it blew up no pics im afraid

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Bought this off a friend as it was truly mint with zero rust fresh import, went a bit silly with stickers tried to get it like old gulf one but never handled the same!

Decided to buy a hardcore 205 as an addition to MX5

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Ended up with this mad thing....

Mi 16v engine with twin 45 webbers, kent cam, ported head etc etc, had about 180 bhp with 1.6 gearbox for better acceleration, brembo 4 pot calipers, 309 gti rear beam, front wishbones for wider track, real carbon fibre dash hollowed out doors, perspex windows, carbon fibre bonnet, glass fibre rear tailgate, full cage , wrap around buckets etc etc etc. Full blown rally car was so loud I had to fit an intercom as couldnt hear a thing! sold it as fancied a Skyline......

Sold MX5 and 205 to fund an R32 GTR....

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

This mint 91 R32 GTR came up so bought it and set about refreshing the suspension with coilovers etc, Dash had aset of race clocks in it very trick, running about 350 bhp so quite nippy. this photo after i`d just finished it but didnt keep it long as was offered amazing money for it and was thinking i could maybe afford A lotus Elise now so did a deal on an Elise and sold GTR

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Bought this and fitted GAZ coilovers which in my opinion spoiled the handling!

Got bored of colour so treated it to a full Sport 160 upgrade got it painted Scandal green, bought compomotive mo`s with toyo 888`s, carbon rear wing , seats trimmed in alcantara etc etc. Loved the way this looked had loads of presence

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Then got convinced by a mate I needed a bike engined Kitcar

So sold Elise and decided I wanted a Defender and as above as a trackday car

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Bloody mental thats all I can say!

Only thing is got caught out in rain a few times and you cant see a thing!

Bought a defender to tow it

Started out like this....

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

getting there!

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Uploaded at Picoodle.com
Thats more like it...

Rule no.1 when buying a Defender...

Do your research and don`t buy the 2.5 Td around 1988 as its a crap engine! I got rid ( should have maybe got a 200 TDi Engine) as engine was terrible! looked ace though!

Got offered my old MX5 back so Bought it back and de-stickered it...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Bought diesel Passat as towcar

Got rid of passat, mx5 and Vortx as fancied a newer Elise so.....

Loved this car , fitted a Larini sports exhaust it made a lovely sound for a 4 cylinder! kept it for about a year then met our lass!

Then decided I wanted another 4x4 and a cheaper roadster so sold Lotus...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Bought this MX5 1.8 RS import very rare with torsen LSD, bit more power etc

and then turned this...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

into this...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

bought a nice 205 1.9 GTi
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Sold MX5 as could afford an S2000

So bought this...
Uploaded at Picoodle.com
total dissapointment..... hated it!

tried diff wheels..
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Even worse....Sold it to fund a loft conversion as our Lass moved in then..Kept Discovery...

Sold 205 as offered good money on it!..

Did Bike test and bought this..
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Loved Discovery, did loads of exploring in it until engine decided to go pop when the oil pump bolt came out!

Got made redundant...

Needs must so sold Discovery and bought a cheapish Focus but a nice one...
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Sold Bike.....

Later Got a new Job with company car so bought another Disco
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Heap of crap! top spec ES but sunroofs leaked and auto box was crap!

Bought this Bike from pistonheads...
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

mint condition Suzuki SV650S K5

Bought our lass a 2007 Seat leon FR 170 TDi in black....

Sold Discovery to buy a Jimny plaything for greenlanes...

Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Loved it but got stuck and pulled out by a Pajero so you guessed it....

Sold Jimny Bought a Pajero in mint condition which is now in middle of getting the offroad treatment big wheels 3" LIFT ETC..
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

As it stands last week

Bought a Supra Mk4 Manual and had it freshly painted Ferrari Red..it has staggered deep dish wheels that im getting done silver and it needs new glass uk spec headlights! seems a keeper as love it!
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

Also racing this year in this.....125 Gearbox Kart 120 mph arse an inch of ground!
Uploaded at Picoodle.com

So our fleet as it stands today....

Alfa Mito Veloce company car, Supra Mk4, Pajero 2.8 LWB off roader, Seat Leon FR, Suzuki SV650S, Birel 125 Gearbox Kart..

The list just kept going and going!

What do you prefer, the MK4 Supra or the R32 GTR?

Love the first Elise after it was painted!

Yep sure did! Lovely car except though the gearbox a bit notchy?? Sold it as I found the extra money for an S2000 and wish I hadnt bothered!!

In response to questions..

R32 was a better car as in it was an Icon and felt like i was driving a piece of motoring history, but always felt like something could at any point go wrong as after all it is now a very old car....Was it better for me than Supra? for me no as I Like to get the back end out and Supra feels more natural...
Think it depends what type of driver you are...If you like a bit more precision then the R32, if you like to tell the car what to do then the Supra. do love em both though!

Yes Im racing initially at fulbeck this year with the intention of doing a few other circuits! Im new to 125 gearbox karts though! Its currently at Andrew Fairless racing in cumbria getting a refresh ready to race get it back next week! where do you race?

Thanks for the comments guys I absolutley love good drivers cars!

Ah thought i recognised the plate and white wheels... Many moons ago I was going to look at it, had a turbo conversion, but the day before I went up the turbo seized, so I am led to believe they took the conversion off!
