What are the top 5 mk1's to buy.

Im looking at a mk1 1.8 uk spec, but is it better to buy a import as better spec and the uk ones are not so as poverty spec?

Buy on condition of body and paint, everything else is an easy fix.

Dont buy a 1.6 post 95 UK car.

The only really desirable special edition is the Mk1 RS, as long as it has the correct wheels and seats.

Might be better off buying an import 1.8 as they usually have torsen LSD's where as the none of the uk spec ones do.
