Afternoon, been trying to source a pair of tyres for around 6-8 weeks now without any luck at all.
I'm searching for a set of Mich Pilot Sports 305/30/21, a few online sites state in stock but once you process the order it returns that in fact they have no availability. Tyre dealers have all stated they list as on back order with no known date.
I've spoken direct to Michelin as they fail to respond to my e-mails and a helpful lady Julie informed me currently on there system it's showing that 10 tyres will be due to head to the UK earliest 8th March, latest 15th March however never been in this position I've no idea how realistic this actually is but I've no reason to disprove it won't happen.
My concern is however that I was told they can't tell me where the tyres will be going to and whether they're already allocated for (sold).
I was told in the South of France they received 10 tyres last week again can't disclose where about though so virtually impossible to locate.
I'm working lots in Germany next month so I will try some tyre places out there but failing that looks like I will have to think of other options, maybe 295/35/21 tyres although they won't be Pilot Sports. If I order from the States which I was told they had 2 tyres in stock it works around £1400 delivered with freight, duty and VAT so £700 a tyre, if I was able to source them here for example from ATS Euromaster it would be £348 a tyre so it'll cost me double to get from the States.
So anyway my question is does anyone know of any sites in Germany that follow the lines of Camskill, Blackcirlces, Mytyres etc? to see if I can find / locate the tyres.

MyTyres essentially is german. Their german site is here: http://www.reifendirekt.de/Edit apparently this is a different company...but possibly useful. http://www.reifen-pneus-online.de/
But if you order something specific/unusual on mytyres it'll often be shipped from Germany.
Thanks will take a look at those links.
mattball thats always an alternative option for 295/30/21 or 295/35/21 but was hoping for 305/30/21 ideally. I think judging by dates I'll hold fire till the 8th - 15th and see if I'm fortunate enough to grab some tyres, if so I actually think I will try and get 4 of them so I have a spare pair especially knowing from the States they would cost me double makes sense to order 4 for technically the price of 2.
I rang my local ATS around 2-3 weeks ago and asked them to place an order with Michelin I can only hope they carried this out and a set will arrive.
Least the front tyres are 265/35/21 and readily available I think they're used on things like the Audi Q7's therefore much easier to source although not on shelves they seem to arrive within 48 hours from warehouses.
