Just spoke to Mr Eales to order the rest of my engine, bad news is that the heads will be 8-9 weeks!! So given this news it's not likely we will be racing at Silverstone... We will be there watching though unless anyone has some new full race heads for sale? Or any recomendations?? frown

Thanks guys... Thinking about it I recon I'll just wait for the Eales heads. Need the right chamber volume etc for the pistons plus can't really afford to be buying 2 sets of heads at the moment lol...

If it comes together nice and easy, I'll be at Silverstone but if things get in the way maybe not meant to be that I race there. There's something niggling in the back of my mind about racing there anyway - and we all saw how my day ended up the last time I had a similar thought (Oulton Park the other year!).

We will still be there watching though, and spannering if anyone needs a hand! It'll free up some cash to do a Croft or two aswell, so silver lining and all that wink

SO, assuming I miss Silverstone, I'll also duff Rockingham, then in theory should manage all season with one set of tyres smile

James will be at Silverstone - his 'second' first DTEC race (!) so might need some Griff spannering from an expert!
We tracked there 2 weekends ago in my Marcos with crap rubber and brakes, so things can only get better!
