What a pile of st. So they automatically disable your account if not used for any longer than 12 months. Then they give you a new card/account without the same amount of points as before....
223 point! Not enough for £2.50 at argos. I know i had enough to buy a cd player a year or 2 ago!

Takes the piss.

Found an old email showing over 9000 points. smile

Makes you wonder how these companies operate with st systems in place.

What did they say when you asked them to merge the two accounts?

Why let it get up to that many points, those things arnt like debit cards witha pin,if you lose the card then someone can just walk in to a sainsburys and rinse the card of its points

I tried to login online, account locked, had to call 0845. emailed them to sort it.
Get email back saying they will create new account and migrate points over to new card. problem is 223 instead of 9700+. cocks.

Didnt realise anyone can use the points if card lost... but i never have, so they can sort it.

Don't bother with Nectar etc. they're just tracking devises to market you.

All to save a few quid a year, not worth it IMO

The only reason I use one is because I buy all my company fuel at BP, which gives Nectar points. £125 of shopping for nowt the other day, after 12 months.

Having said that, Nectar is pish and worth sod all if you're saving up with normal weekly shopping spends. Tesco Clubcard points = free holidays smile

Nectar is the only points/loyalty system I participate in. I always used to fill my work van up at BP. As I paid with the company fuel card it was essentially free money (They confirmed I was allowed) I could save to use at christmas, or to buy a gift for someone at any time.

I also got 1000 points when I got my car insurance from confused, and now I get it on ebay purchases which is fantastic.

It's not a miracle or anything but I find it useful to have some money hidden away for emergencys or xmas

bks, with the greatest respect. Nectar pays for our Christmas dinner and booze every year.
