New Wheels for the CanAm

We said we'd never track the CanAm again without proper tires. Changing tires on existing wheels was out of the question. The only way to do it was a new set of wheels.
On our way to Alaska this summer, we stopped at Kodiak Motorsports in British Columbia. Had a great tour of their shop, and spent several hours with the owner Daryle Redlin. Asked him every question I could, and was very impressed with the answers. They specialize in 3 piece racing wheels, and currently in addition to making wheels for every other racing class, are also making wheels for the Radicals over here.
We were so impressed with their equipment, and quality of their work, we;
1. ordered a set of track wheels for the Cobra.

Daryle suggested this design as it loads the rim more evenly for racing stresses, and
2. looking to expand RosenRacing, we became a Kodiak rep.
Not sure if this will be the design for the CanAm wheels, but at their pricing structure, I can see several sets in the future.

Can I ask you what those wheels cost you? I've been thinking CCW's for my Sports, but I actually like the looks of those better..

The wheels for the Cobra were $1850 U.S. Will be a little more for the CanAm because of the larger size.

For all four wheels? Thats how much I paid for one rear wheel that was completely anodized. Are they using your wheels as a pattern?

No, the wheels for the Cobra are their "RT" design. They can also anodize them, but they say that polishing is more popular due the scratching of the anodized finish. Wheels in the 18" Ultima size are a bit over $500 each. When I checked with the manufacturer of your wheels, they were more than double that price. Full anodizing would have been even more.
