Is Indycar on UK TV this year.

As the title says does anyone know if Indycar is being shown on UK television and if so what channel.

I am not sure that anybody has picked up the rights yet. Premiere Sports may show it (£8 a month) however it may appear on Eurosport or ESPN (Classic). Watch this space.

Sky Sports 3 or 4 shows a number of the races live (like lndy 500 and other big ones) and the rest highlights

ESPN has been sold by Disney to BT to become BT Sport sometime this year.

Not too confident about all of this. ESPN probably won’t show all the races live (like they’ve done with DTM) & with BT taking over they haven’t confirmed if they’ll be showing any of the races live yet.

ESPN have claimed they'll show all races LIVE. So that's all races up to 31/07/13 should hopefully be live, then we'll see what BT do once they take over.

No answer from ESPN if they'll have any pre-show/build in programming.

I remember that a couple of years back you used to be able to register on the indycar site and be able to watch it online, through the site, even in the UK. I don't know if that's still possible
