Removing stripe

Hi just bought a Chimaera it has had a pair of stripes put on it down the middle. I have been told a hair dryer and gentle removal is the way to get them off is this the best way or get a fudge wheel? If i'm left with adhesive on the paintwork again what would you guys recommend for removal?

If you can see lines, as it depends how long they have been there e.g. Sun, etc, which aren't affected by clay, get a professional to look as it may need a minor paint correction and professional polish
