Looking for Alcantara / Anyone know a company called MATRIM?
Discussion
I'm looking to buy some alcantara for my tuscan interior to rplace the flock areas, and have found a company called glen revis whom sell it by the linear m, but the genuine stuff is £55 a meter!!
A fellow TVR owner used a company that sold a material named as alcantara but it's actual name was dinamica. I don't know anything about that material but it's was meant to be similar and a bit cheaper.
Has anyone used this stuff, how much did it cost and from where did you get it?
Also, one one used MATRIM. Ive heard of it but can't find it on the www!
Many thanks,
Martin

Got mine from Glen Revis as well. Although I asked them if they had any off cuts from previous orders. Turns out they had a bunch of pieces all of which were large enough to cover the individual items I wanted to cover. Paid about £50
Ended up being able to cover the dash and door cards with a load of smaller bits left over (thinking of the gear and hand brake gaiters next). Might be a possible way of approaching them (depending on what you want to cover of course).
