Looking for advice and some links to companies that provide trailer insurance and also answer to question...
I have a 996 GT3 clubsport, a real beauty with only 7500 miles on the clock.
Planning to do a few track days this year across Europe and have just bought a new quality trailer to tow it behind my Landrover to save racking up too many miles on the GT3 and just in case the worse happens and I say bonjour to a barrier and can't drive home.
My Landrover is insured with Admiral, as is my GT3 but they tell me that the Landrover policy does not cover the trailer when towed.
So is my GT3 covered when being towed by Landrover on it's own policy? If not does anyone know any good companies that will insure trailer (worth £7k) and the GT3 when being towed at home and in Europe?

Thanks. It's more the trailer/car insurance I want than Landrover insurance. I like Admiral for the reason they give 90 days European cover as standard with no need to call them and get green card or permission when going out of UK. And I spent lots of time out of UK as have a house/work in Europe so real benefit to me...

Admiral more than likely covers the Land Rover for towing but as the OP says not the trailer or the contents. He needs to find out from Admiral if the GT3 is covered on the trailer, I suspect not, and possibly get goods in transit insurance.

Good call thanks. I'll bell Admiral and see if they agree to the GT3 being covered on it's own policy if I flip my Landrover or something dumb like that and it gets trashed. They know I plan to use it for track days and to use the Landrover to tow to trackdays and of course it's not insured for any lively track action but while in transit...maybe it is even on trailer. Admiral say Landrover is insured to tow but trailer and contents is not insured in any shape or form...

I think you will find ANYONE does that these days, so if you get a better deal elsewhere that does cover you, you should feel free to vote with your feet.
