Do we really need to have big flashy intrusive ads of 'celebrity chefs' being slapped in the face with wish?

Rather annoying and really rather degrading of the site no?

I am glad someone has picked up on this.

I'm surfing Pistonheads at work and the Just Eat fish slapping video suddenly fires up with full sound.
Not impressed.

Ads are not supposed to have sounds... but it KEEPS happening. Apparently the PH techs will contact the Ad supplier to get that particular add removed from the feed, but it will only be a couple of weeks until ANOTHER one comes up. Do a search and you'll see many instances of noisy ads being dealt with, only for another to crop up again.

I have sounds off for this reason. Quite annoying.

PH Techs: More people WILL start using ad-blockers. We know the revenue from Ads support the site and so most people will leave ads unblocked. However if they keep being intrusive you'll end up driving people to block them all. Help us out?
