Airbox latches?

Took off my airboxes to get resprayed today, the front box latches are looking a bit ropey so I was thinking of replacing with some nice new stainless items. Has anyone else done this and if so where from?

Are they the same as the sp6? If so I'll check my receipts as I changed mine about 12 months ago.

They look to be zinc coated rather than stainless. Just wanted you to be aware incase you were expecting nice silver items for your engine bay.

Yeah I did think that, may try to source some stainless equivalents....

Try Avon Stainless Steel....they do allsorts but not all is on their website AFAIK....email them a pic of what you want perhap.

Well I've sourced some new latches, so when they turn up I'll report back:

Old ones removed and from what I can work out they those above are very similar in size.

I got some from the suppliers of stainless steel banding and lagging. Can't remember manufacturer though.
